Chris Norris

cnorris@delucanemeroff.com

Chris Norris is the head of the appellate practice at Nemeroff Law Firm. He is well-versed in dealing with the complicated and diverse legal issues that often arise in complex tort litigation.

In 2011, he served as lead appellate counsel in two cases before the Pennsylvania Court of Appeals in which the court upheld two verdicts against an asbestos gasket manufacturer (see published decision references below). In 2010, Chris worked on the trial of a Louisiana mesothelioma case that resolved in settlement, which involved asbestos drilling additives. In this matter, Chris assisted in thwarting an asbestos company expert’s attempts to conceal the questionable underlying data on which he bases his opinions. Prior to joining the Nemeroff Law Firm, Chris worked on both the trial and appellate aspects of cases in a number of different states, including a 2010 Pennsylvania case involving an asbestos wire manufacturer where the court of appeals upheld the verdict.

Chris graduated among the top of his class from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. While in law school, Chris distinguished himself as one of the school’s most decorated appellate advocates, winning the John Marshall School of Law International Moot Court Competition, including the award for best brief. Chris is also a member of the National Order of Barristers.
